Mercenaries: This is a pokemon like mode where you improve a group of (up to six) Mercenaries winning resources to improve or get more Mercenaries. Once you have a good enough team you can fight other players.
JUMP RIGHT IN: Fun introductory missions bring you into the world of Hearthstone’s intuitive gameplay.
BUILD YOUR DECK: With hundreds of additional cards to win and craft - your collection grows with you.

So I'm not a huge gamer, my husband plays Magic The Gathering so I have some idea of how that works, and I've played a few times but then Hearthstone came along. So much fun! It is easy to get into, and it scales well. So once you start unlocking new cards it challenges you to play with your deck and change your play style. Now I've started to play Magic more regularly which is great! Really like how this game is free but they also provides incentive for you to buy the expansions and card packs but never does it feel mandatory.
