What is HealthLog?

HealthLog keeps your health data on your own server. It runs from a single Docker Compose file on a NAS, a homelab or a small VPS, and puts weight, blood pressure, pulse, glucose, body composition, sleep, mood, cycle and medications on one timeline.

Data comes in from the devices you already use: Withings, WHOOP, Oura and Polar, Fitbit and Pixel Watch (directly or through Google Health), Nightscout for CGM glucose, and Apple Health, either live through the iOS app or from an export file. You can also enter everything by hand.

Before an appointment you can print a doctor report as a PDF or send your doctor a share link that expires after the visit. There is also a read-only FHIR API. Medication tracking covers weekly injections, intervals and as-needed doses, with reminders by push, Telegram or ntfy.

AI insights are optional. You bring your own OpenAI or Anthropic key, or point HealthLog at a local model such as Ollama, so AI requests stay on your network.

Notes, documents and credentials are encrypted at rest. There is no vendor cloud, and no subscription or third-party tracking either. Available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish and Korean, with a live demo at demo.healthlog.dev.
