It looks like a very nice tool and handles beautifully. However, the internal package manager used to install plugins seems to be broken. I can't list, find, or install any packages, because it gets stuck at "Please wait, fetching available packages…". The repository seems to be up, so it seems to be the plugin's fault.
While packages can be downloaded from a browser, there are no installation instructions whatsoever (apart from the package manager method which is broken, of course). I tried copying or extracting the downloaded plugin archives in various folders that the application sets up, restarting it after each attempt, but I couldn't get any plugins to load. So, from what it seems like to me, Hain is currently limited to the functionality that comes pre-packaged with it. That might be fine if all you're looking for is an app launcher or "Spotlight" replacement, but it's a pity that the many nice-looking add-ons won't budge.
Unsure as to why, but I would use Hain and its process would use like 40%+ CPU sometimes. And that's on an i5 3570k @ 4Ghz. Caused a noticeable slowdown on the system. Wouldn't recommend it unless that leak is fixed.
