There are more than 10 games similar to GZDoom for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Linux, Mac, Flathub and Steam apps. The best GZDoom alternative is Quake. It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try idTech4A++ or Anarch. Other GZDoom like games are Doom, Doomsday Engine, DOOM Retro and Zandronum.

Odamex is a free, cross-platform modification of the Doom engine. A copy of Doom, Doom II, Freedoom or Chex Quest is recommended to play it.

ECWolf is a great source port, but it's for Wolf3D and other games that use that ID Tech code base. It's not compatible with Doom.
