What is Gwirian?

Gwirian is a modern, open source test scenario management application for QA engineers and managers. In the app you create and edit BDD scenarios (Given-When-Then) without page reloads, organize them by feature and project, and track who ran which scenario and whether it passed or failed. Full-text search works across projects, features, and scenarios; a global panel and keyboard shortcuts help you navigate quickly. The project dashboard shows pass rate, failing and untested counts, feature coverage, and execution trends. You get role-based access for collaboration, and you can drive execution via the REST API, MCP server, or gwirian-cli (e.g. with Playwright and LLMs). Gwirian can be self-hosted for free with no usage limits, or used as a hosted app at https://app.gwirian.com. Open source, no vendor lock-in.
