GSW ConnectBot

GSW ConnectBot from Georgia SoftWorks is a simple to use but powerful Secure Shell (SSH) client designed for use in demanding industrial environments and tested on a variety of scanner guns and versions of Android. Based on the proven and familiar user interface of the original ConnectBot the GSW ConnectBot is the most cryptographically secure, commercially supported SSH client for Android on par only with the Georgia SoftWorks SSH Clients for Windows.

Runs multiple SSH sessions at the same time

Sessions are persisted when user temporarily switches to another Android app

Compatible with a wide variety of hosts

Allows for an administrator to preconfigure host shortcuts and then launch the software in screen lockout mode as required in most work environments

Device properties are conveniently passed to server through environment variables and are available in your logon scripts when used in conjunction with Georgia SoftWorks SSH or Telnet Server

Corporate and Mass Deployment Features

Support for the Georgia SoftWorks License and Update Server to allow for centralized management of multiple devices, in particular:

Internet access is not needed for any of the above management capabilities and there is NO NEED to install agent software of any kind or give BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN permission. In other words security of your device is not handed out to a third party app.
