Grounded AEO

Most AI-visibility tools watch the problem: they track how often ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google's AI mentions a brand and report the number back. Grounded AEO works the supply side instead: it fixes what the engines have available to cite.

The flow: a free 30-second audit crawls the domain the way an AI engine does and shows, in plain English, what an engine can read, verify, and trust about the business — and what it can't. From there, the service extracts the business's facts (identity, contact, locations, services) with full provenance — every fact carries its source URL and fetch time — and the owner reviews and approves each one before anything publishes.

Approved facts become a machine-readable record served everywhere an engine or agent might look: a REST API, a per-company llms.txt, a public grounding page, and an MCP endpoint AI agents can query directly. Records are Ed25519-signed, and domain ownership is proven with a v=AEO1 DNS TXT record — an open, no-cost standard anyone can implement (spec at aeorecord.org, with an npm verifier). Weekly citation checks then measure the thing that matters: whether AI answers actually cite the business.

The audit and a self-declared record are free with no account; the score ladder cannot be bought; and nothing promises guaranteed AI citations — no honest tool can.
