Granola allows you to save your PC energy, reduce your energy consumption and help the world :) NOTE: I usually use it in winter; I uninstalled it in summer because, reducing the fans power to save energy, my notebook was, in my opinion, too hot.
Granola worked without problem on Vista; on Windows 7 it creates problems with suspension and hibernation :(
