What is Google Toolbar?
Google toolbar resides above the browsers tab bar and provides a search box to carry out web searches. It has tools such as AutoLink, AutoFill, translation, spell checker common to all browsers, while pop-up blocker and word finder are restricted to Internet Explorer.

Features of this toolbar I cannot live without (and thus keeping me from leaving Firefox):
Agreed, toolbars take up space. This is the only toolbar I don't mind using.
I hate third party toolbars. What's the use? For example, Firefox offers nearly everything that Google Toolbar has to offer- spell check, browsing history, bookmarks, a pop-up blocker, and word finder. Heck, even Internet Explorer offers most of that stuff. Toolbars just take up space.
