Features of this toolbar I cannot live without (and thus keeping me from leaving Firefox):

  • Custom Site Search (via context menu) -- highlight any word on the page and perform a search on any search engine on the web
  • Highlight Search Terms (highlight and jump quickly to any keyword or phrase on the page)
  • Save Toolbar settings to your Google Account (then all your custom searches can be restored to any browser you login to)

Agreed, toolbars take up space. This is the only toolbar I don't mind using.

I hate third party toolbars. What's the use? For example, Firefox offers nearly everything that Google Toolbar has to offer- spell check, browsing history, bookmarks, a pop-up blocker, and word finder. Heck, even Internet Explorer offers most of that stuff. Toolbars just take up space.
