In general it is a good and reliable Application. It is free and fair managed and you have the option to download your books as csv so you do not login your data. I do not like the ever stronger Integration with amazon and the fact that it is closed source.
What have they done with their redesign... It looks so bad.

Goodreads is the best social media for book lovers.
Many sites try but none is as good as GoodReads. It's a brand.
Besides having tons of information and reviews about books, goodreads also have a large collections of quotes as well.
GoodReads actually fired Evernote for my purpose of maintaining a reading list. Love it. I use the web app as well as the Android app and the barcode scanner is a dream come true.
