Gluon Alternatives

Gluon is described as 'Modular framework for creating OpenWRT-based firmwares for wireless mesh servers. Several Freifunk communities in Germany use Gluon as the foundation of their Freifunk firmwares' and is an app. There are seven alternatives to Gluon for a variety of platforms, including Linux, Self-Hosted, OpenWrt, Docker and LEDE - Linux Embedded Development Environment apps.
