Migrated from Sentry - they had been bloating, ignoring need to go EU sovereign, and generally less and less self-hosted. With Glitchtip we got back clarity, simplicity, got our data back and it... just works (tm).

What is GlitchTip?
GlitchTip's open source platform makes monitoring software easy. Track errors, monitor performance, check site uptime all in one place. Compatible with Sentry client SDK but easier to run and entirely open source.
Track errors - Report your website or application's exceptions, log messages, Content Security Policy violations, and more to one place to triage and resolve.
Application performance monitoring (APM) - Find out where your app is slow. GlitchTip takes a simple, works out of the box approach. No dashboard building and metrics hunting. Just find your slowest web requests, database calls, and other transactions.
Uptime monitoring - GlitchTip can ping your site and warn you when it's not responding. Or reverse it and send GlitchTip a request on schedule. If GlitchTip doesn't receive your ping, it will alert you via email or webhook.

Easy to self-host with docker-compose, easy run on 1cpu/1ram machine because lightweight. And compatible with sentry reporters on backend/frontend side, just put glitchtip dsn instead sentry dsn, works like magic.

Migrated away from Sentry to GlitchTip. It was a painless process and helped reduce costs. It appears to be actively developed, so we're excited for its future. Its interface is very snappy and pleasant to use.
I like GlitchTip because it is 100% Open Source, and you can get it hosted (including a free starter plan), or you can self-host. It does error tracking of course, but also uptime monitoring and performance monitoring.

I like GlitchTip, since it is free, truly open-source and really lightweight compared to sentry when it comes to self-hosting. What I also like is that the official sentry-libraries work with it.
Easy to host, simple to use. It is a pretty solid choice if you want to have some monitoring and crashlytics while not giving your soul to the sentry overlords. It does not have all the features sentry has, but all the important ones are there, and it is heaps easier to host.
Easy to self-host with containers, also easy to setup for error tracking and uptime monitoring. And since it's compatible with Sentry API, the Sentry SDKs can be used to integrate with pretty much all popular technology stacks.
