What is Glippy?

Glippy is a simple clipboard manager for GNOME. It's written in Mono and supports:

  • storing text from keyboard and mouse clipboards
  • synchronizing clipboards
  • storing images from clipboard and file manager (when text is path, e.g.: /home/user/image.png)
  • uploading clips to http://PasteBin.com (text) and http://Imgur.com (images)
  • snippets, which are stored text clips available in menu
  • actions, executed on current text
  • hotkey which shows list of clips
  • instant pasting
  • history
  • Ubuntu application indicator (if glippy-indicator installed) / standard tray icon (# glippy -t) / no icon mode (# glippy -n).
