Getscreen.me is a good software. Easy to operate and very convenient to use to fix issues with family computer remotely. And it's cross-platform and have web interface, so no need in installing dashboard. It has dashboard app, but it's just site as an app. It would be great if it has a special and optimized application for computers

I invested some time to test Nomachine, Rustdesk and Getscreen.me today. The long years used Anydesk and Teamviewer are quite no more usable by private users. Also the are 5 times more expensive than the alternatives. The gratis usage for private users is often interrupted.
so some comments on the alternatives comes here:
a) Rustdesk was an easy to install App. but it works only some minutes correctly. After reconnection the remote mouse pointer was visible but no action can be started...

Overall it was exactly what I needed. I use a lot of devices (Android, iOS, Linux) and needed a simple way to be able to access my home computer (windows).
This checked all my boxes and was free for personal use. Could not ask anything else.

I really like Getscreen. I've been using it for several months now, and it really meets all my needs. The application is very user-friendly. Bonus: attractive pricing that can be adjusted to suit your needs.

I like Getscreen.me because it's super useful across many applications, the free tier is very generous, and the premium features are very affordable. I would recommend it to my friends. They all use it!

Free, easy to set up and use, abundant in features, and it has not failed on me while other programs have. It doesn't have the best latency and video quality compared to some other options, but it's a very solid backup that has saved me on many occasions. It's also quite usable on mobile as well.

I've migrated my entire business to getscreen.me and I'm very satisfied. All the features I need are included and the price is affordable.
The support team responded to my question quickly and competently. That's how software should always be.

I have used many different remote desktop software options in the past, from the expensive TeamViewer, Rust, and then some of the standard free options like Chrome Remote Desktop.
Getscreen is by far my favorite. It seems much faster than the alternatives, and even just their free tier is fantastic for me to be able to remotely connect to my own desktop from elsewhere and also help my aging parents with their computers from 5,000 miles away.

I have been using the free version of Getscreen.me and it has been fabulous! The ability to move files between systems is smooth and simple. To view other screens, done. Time to invest and open up the whole package.

What is Getscreen.me?
Getscreen.me cloud software allows you to connect to your desktop remotely via a direct link from your browser. If you need fast connect to the user's computer and help him solve a problem - use the quick support function. If you need to connect frequently, set up a permanent access. You can call a customer or ask a question in the chat window during a session - this saves time. And if you have a large company - create teams and work together under one account!
Integration with popular platforms (Google Chrome Extension, Telegram, Jira Service Desk) and with HTTP API. Supports Windows, macOS, Linux, Android. Works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera.
Getscreen.me is absolutely safe! The service works over the HTTPS protocol, which includes AES encryption. We also use algorithms to detect and block one-time link and password matching attempts.

a) Rustdesk was an easy to install App. but it works only some minutes correctly. After reconnection the remote mouse pointer was visible but no action can be started after clicking with it. That was really disappointing.
b) NoMachine looks quite good, but the global network acces concept seems not very secure to me. Also the yearly subscription price is a little bit higher than getscreen.me. but Functionality is working fine.
c) Getscreen.me looks also easy in usage. First experience was the invitation link must be used quickly before it elapsed ;-). costs are a little bit lower than NoMmachine. Usage was easy and worked fine to me. the only negative point was that the private quick support was limited to 1 time per day. But un summary its worth the money as we say in Germany! I think about to buy a lifetime license for some friends supporting on their machines.
