Mainly (on their very short domain) this is a software exploration platform. It is kind of similar to AlternativeTo but there are far less good open-source projects listed, bad UI and dumb AI suggestions. Some content is locked behind a login wall. It seems very aggressive in it's marketing and monetization.
I use G2 for checking software reviews before i but or try any tool. Most reviews look real and it help me to compare different products in one place. The site design is simple and easy to search. Sometimes I feel some reviews are a bit biased, but overall it is useful platform.
