Fuego is a desktop GUI for Cloud Firestore, Firebase Authentication and Cloud Storage for Firebase, for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows (x64 and ARM64) and Linux (x64). It is an alternative to working in the Firebase console or writing one-off Admin SDK scripts.
Browse and edit documents in table and tree views, open collections and queries in tabs or separate windows, and build queries visually: where filters with OR, ordering, cursors, collection groups, aggregations, Firestore Enterprise edition pipeline queries and vector search with findNearest. Queries can be turned into SDK code.
Data jobs run in the background: import CSV, JSON, JSONL and YAML files, export collections to the same formats, bulk update and delete documents, rename collections and move them to another database or project. Point-in-time recovery shows the versions of a document from the last 7 days and restores them. Index management covers composite and vector indexes, TTL policies and an Index Advisor.
For Firebase Authentication, Fuego searches and edits users, custom claims, multi-factor authentication and Identity Platform tenants. For Storage it previews images, videos and PDFs, edits metadata and uploads or downloads files. It works with the Firebase emulators too.
Fuego 2 adds an AI assistant that uses the AI provider you choose (a local Ollama model included), a built-in MCP server and a fuego command line tool. Access credentials stay on your computer. There is a free plan, and the Individual plan costs 9.99 EUR/month after a 14-day free trial.
