freesend.io is a free file transfer service that lets you send files up to 100 GB per transfer — with no account required, no monthly limits, and no paid upsell.

After WeTransfer was acquired by private equity and gutted its free tier (3 GB limit, 10 transfers/month), we built the alternative we wished existed: generous, simple, and permanently free.

How it works: drop your files, enter the recipient's email, verify your sender address with one click, done. The recipient gets a clean download link. Files are available for 7 days and delivered via global CDN.

freesend.io is funded by short video ads shown to the recipient — no subscriptions, no storage upsells, no data harvesting. Available in 12 languages.
