    Freeboard is a powerful no-fuss dashboard that makes it super simple to import and visualize your data. I needed to create a dashboard for a personal project and of the competition, Freeboard definitely had the best and most flexible offerings.

    Freeboard is super flexible and I would definitely consider using it if I had to integrate it into or interface with a commercial product.

    • Slick interface
    • Super flexible
    • Fast and responsive
    • Allows custom Javascript and widgets
    • Simple integration into existing stack

    Cons

    • Not that many connectors. If your data source isn't JSON you're in trouble
    • Only for displaying streaming data; doesn't show historical data
