Used FreeDVDVideoSoft for about 17 years, and it is by far the BEST program for this by far! I have always been highly impressed by the customer support and they stick to their promises of unlimited licenses. Which is rare nowadays.

For starters, at least it is a good alternative to 4K Downloader. Where sometimes the latter fails to download, this one had success. The only cons are; not converting the videos automatically, this is a premium thing. And the speed is fast at the beginning, but after 80% it takes a while. it has been already 10 minutes and it is only no 83% so yes, pretty slow. You can pay for making it faster, though. So as an alternative solution when you can't download the video with 4K Downloader is OK,...

I've been using this program for a while because I wanted to download some videos from YouTube. It's pretty simple and the feature with the integrated converter is exactly what I've been looking for :)

contain Adware and cause Frequent Error

I love the quality and have never had a problem with a file, they always play as they should, every time.
The only thing that would make me giddier is if they came up with a program that could pull a video from any website, because I seriously could use a program that could save a video from my college webpages that don't allow downloads. It seriously bites having to search through source code for an hour to save an important lecture.

Thank goodness Revo was able to uninstall this. All I wanted was to listen to some low-quality MP3 from a YT. Nope, that is "premium" at $19 a year.
