First off this software does not contain Adware or Malware! I use Bitdefender Total security and this software is clean. Also it works awesome!! I love it, there tech support is awesome as well when I switched to crappy Windows 11 I had a problem reactivating it on my new laptop.

I´ve been using Free YouTube Download since 2016. It is very easy to use and I got very good assistance whenever I need some help. Just for curiosity, I tried other alternatives but I came back to this software every time.

A reliable downloader with all the necessary features. Easy to use, works great, and the support team is super helpful and friendly. Very happy with it!
I've used this to grab some videos and it does the job just fine until you hit playlists with more than 30 items in them - then it will only download the first 30. I suspect this is what the maker means by getting "improved download" when you buy the Pro version but I can't find any actual statement about that on their web site so... no money from me.
It currently (Dec 2015) ships with OpenCandy optional software installs which can be unselected.
Verdict: usable for basics, be careful during install to avoid PuPware. I will keep looking for alternatives.

Used FreeDVDVideoSoft for about 17 years, and it is by far the BEST program for this by far! I have always been highly impressed by the customer support and they stick to their promises of unlimited licenses. Which is rare nowadays.
Although there are some hiccups at times, it is highly user friendly and they keep updating it as youtube updates its platform. There is always a glitchy time when youtube updates its site, but they stay up on it and usually rectify the situation within a couple of weeks.
I love the quality and have never had a problem with a file, they always play as they should, every time.
The only thing that would make me giddier is if they came up with a program that could pull a video from any website, because I seriously could use a program that could save a video from my college webpages that don't allow downloads. It seriously bites having to search through source code for an hour to save an important lecture.

Free YouTube Download works smoothly for me on Windows 11 and does exactly what I need. Support responded quickly and fixed my issue right away.

For starters, at least it is a good alternative to 4K Downloader. Where sometimes the latter fails to download, this one had success. The only cons are; not converting the videos automatically, this is a premium thing. And the speed is fast at the beginning, but after 80% it takes a while. it has been already 10 minutes and it is only no 83% so yes, pretty slow. You can pay for making it faster, though. So as an alternative solution when you can't download the video with 4K Downloader is OK, but not a permanent one. There are online and free solutions faster than this one.
