FrameVault information
What is FrameVault?
FrameVault is a desktop-first photo backup application built specifically for photographers who want controlled, transparent backups instead of generic sync tools.
Unlike traditional backup services, FrameVault runs locally on your machine and uploads your selected folders directly to cloud storage (Backblaze B2). It is designed for long-term archive protection, not file syncing.
Key features:
• Automated monitoring of selected folders • Cloud storage using Backblaze B2 • Subscription-based restore limits • Desktop app for Windows and macOS (Apple Silicon) • Secure, signed and notarized macOS build • No background sync black box — you control what gets backed up
FrameVault is built for photographers who care about preserving large RAW archives and want clarity about where their data is stored and how restores are handled.
Available for Windows and macOS.
