Forked from previous Simple Launcher, with additional fixes, and hopefully, a contribution process that keeps on improving the app and fixing bugs !
Same basics as the built-in Android launcher: a home screen for app icons, optional additional screens, grouping multiple apps in a folder -- and it doesn't push a "news" screen or force a Google search bar on you!
Still a bit buggy, though, especially with widgets.
Allows for an app grid and widgets on your home screen, and is very small (only 6.2 MB). Not as customizable and a bit buggy at times, including when the display can sometimes freeze; you'd need to open the AOSP Settings app and Force Stop the launcher to get it working again. But, Fossify being Fossify, this launcher doesn't contain any trackers and requires a minimal amount of permissions. https://reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org/en/reports/org.fossify.home/latest/
Definitely more up-to-date too, as unfortunately, Lawnchair hasn't seen stable updates in (gasp) 6.5 years! O~o;
