FOQUS is an automatic trading journal that is available at no cost. It operates in conjunction with Binance, Bybit, and OKX, specifically with USDT and USDC perpetual futures, as well as with MetaTrader 5 brokers, and incorporates prop-firm accounts.
The software facilitates a read-only connection. This means that an exchange is linked through a read-only API key, with FOQUS never initiating orders or accepting a key that possesses trading rights. An MT5 account is connected using its investor password.
FOQUS automatically logs each trade into the journal, documenting every action to the second, directly on the chart. This includes the entry and exit, the stop-loss and take-profit as they are set and adjusted, as well as fees and funding. The software has the capability to record the order book surrounding each action, with a limit of 10 per day at no charge. It also features tags for setup, mistake, and emotion, notes and voice notes, along with 18 filters and 28 widgets.
The software begins recording the moment a connection is made, capturing an account's history at the exchange, which lacks an order book. Binance and Bybit only return a cancelled stop for a period of 1–3 days, so FOQUS records each trade in its entirety. Additional exchanges will be incorporated in the future. The software is free indefinitely and does not require a credit card. An AI trade review feature is currently in the process of being developed.
