What is Folder Marker?
Folder Marker Pro lets you label important folders with color-coded or image-coded icons in order to make them easier to spot among hundreds of similar-looking yellow folders. You can change folder icons to label them by priority (high, normal, low), project completeness level (done, half-done, planned), by work status (approved, rejected, pending), and type of information stored (work, important, temp and private files). Labeled folders catch the eye and let you see the kind of information they contain before you read their names or open them.

Very nice program. I have tried other analogs - but this program much better.
I mark folders (usually colors, sometimes symbols) so that I can easily find the (purple or blue) needle in the (yellow) haystack. When it works smoothly with a right-click menu I'm a very happy camper.
I purchased Folder Marker several years ago and recently started having problems with it after upgrading to Windows 20H2. I left a review regarding my problems and Roman immediately responded. We set up a site connection and Roman made all the corrections in a matter of minutes. I also asked for help with File Marker and he graciously took the time to show me how to use it. I am OVERWHELMED with the programs and cannot thank Roman enough for the time he took to assist me. I highly recommend both of these programs, not just for what they can do, but for the tremendous support this company offers its customers.
Just having the possibility of easily changing those boring icons is enough for me.

Really helps me categorize and organize my folders
I love folder marker. I do a lot of embroidery and it is the perfect tool to keep the packages and sizes organized. I do a lot of color coding normally so it was a treat to find such a tool for my computer files. Makes finding things much faster.
