What is Flashside?

Flashside is a flashcard application for Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and the web. It schedules reviews using spaced repetition: learners grade cards as again, hard, good, or easy, and the scheduler selects a future review date. Cards can include rich text, images, audio, captions, and colours.

Collections are stored on the device, allowing study without a connection or account. An account can be used for syncing and sharing collections. The web editor imports spreadsheets, while the mobile app imports Anki packages with note types and media. Collections may also be shared through public links and QR codes.

There's also an optional AI-based coach for study planning, revising difficult cards, and creating quizzes from a learner's own cards. It states that the coach does not provide answers for flashcards or quiz questions.
