What is Adobe Flash Player?
Adobe Flash Player (labeled Shockwave Flash in Internet Explorer and Firefox) was a freeware software for using content created on the Adobe Flash platform, including viewing multimedia, executing rich Internet applications, and streaming video and audio. Flash Player could be run from a web browser as a browser plug-in or on supported mobile devices. Flash Player was created by Macromedia and has been developed and distributed by Adobe Systems since Adobe acquired Macromedia. On December 30, 2020, support for Flash was removed by Adobe.
In July 2017, Adobe announced that it would end support for Flash Player on December 31th 2020 and continued to encourage the use of open HTML5 standards in place of Flash: https://theblog.adobe.com/adobe-flash-update/

- Upvoted a comment on Ruffle as an alternative to Adobe Flash Playersadly Ruffle doesn't support OPENGL on native desktop so you can't emulate flash on desktop if your hardware doesn't have vulkan support... but you still can open using browser addons.. it's still big issue on ruffle because you need modern graphic card support only for playing old flash game ? really....
