Firmhold information
What is Firmhold?
Most porn recovery apps block your access, put you in a group, give you points and streaks, or send your browsing history to an accountability partner. Firmhold does none of that.
It does one thing: it works out your pattern. Log a relapse or a survived urge in under twenty seconds, with no writing required. Once there is enough data to be honest, Firmhold surfaces the conditions your relapses actually cluster around, including time of day, day of week, triggers, stress level and whether you were alone, and flags the hours you are most at risk while you are still inside them.
What it deliberately does not do:
- No streak counter. Nothing resets to zero. Progress is shown as trends, not as a number you can lose.
- No blocking, no accountability partner, no community. Nobody sees your data but you.
- No AI. Patterns are computed by plain deterministic rules on our own servers. Your data is never sent to a language model or any third party.
- No pattern claimed before the data supports one. The insight engine stays quiet until you have logged at least 15 entries, rather than inventing an early result.
- The panic button is free permanently. The intervention is never paywalled.
An optional browser extension for Chrome and Firefox notices long sessions on sites you choose to monitor and asks you to confirm them, so you do not have to remember to log anything. It is opt-in, and it can be removed at any time without affecting the account.
