What is Field ConneXion?

Field ConneXion is an industrial automation tool that connects Microsoft Excel directly to PLCs and field devices without requiring custom programming. It allows engineers and technicians to read, write, and monitor PLC data straight from Excel spreadsheets, making commissioning, testing, diagnostics, and reporting faster and easier.

The software supports common industrial communication protocols (such as Siemens and Modbus-based systems) and is designed for automation professionals who want a simple, familiar interface instead of complex SCADA or custom scripts. Field ConneXion is commonly used for data logging, parameter configuration, troubleshooting, and rapid prototyping in industrial environments.
