AlternativeTo has just marked this software as "discontinued" rather than completely remove the entry. Which means it will still show up in recommendations and searches for alternatives, even in global search-engine searches. While the logic for this eludes me, this is a RISKY PITFALL!!!
Because the domain of this particular software continues to exist. However, the download link doesn't. But instead the download link will lead the inadvertent clickster on a tour of the Internet which can only be termed, rather euphemistically, POTENTIALLY UNWANTED PROGRAMMES or (PUPs) as they're called by the computer security industry.
