Far Fetched is a free, browser-based geography game built on Google Street View. Each round drops players on a real street somewhere in the world. They can look around and move along the road to look for clues, then name the country they think they're in. Scoring rewards close guesses as well as exact ones: 3 points for the correct country, 2 for a neighbouring country and 1 for the same region.
It covers 214 countries and territories and has several game modes:
Global multiplayer: live matches with up to 30 players, with 1, 3 or 5 minute rounds
Daily Challenge: the same five places for every player each day, with a score you can share
Solo and Survival: timed play with leaderboards, or a three-lives format
City Ten: ten cities with no time limit
Private games: play with friends using a six-letter room code
Ranked: Elo-based seasons from Bronze to Grandmaster
Players can choose Normal, Urban or Natural maps, and Solo and Survival can be limited to a single region.
To keep players coming back, there's a Passport that collects a stamp for each country, plus levels, achievements, daily login rewards, friends lists and chat. Cosmetic items can be unlocked with Miles, the in-game currency.
Far Fetched runs in any modern browser on desktop and mobile, with nothing to install. You can play as a guest without signing up, and the game is available in 17 languages. All core modes are free. An optional Pro membership removes ads and adds Ranked play and season rewards, and Miles packs are also available to buy.
