What is Equalang?

We are the Equalang team, and we created this listing to introduce our side-by-side translation platform. Equalang uses our own translation engine to translate text, files, spoken conversations, web pages, and streaming video subtitles.

Here is what you can do across our web app and browser extension:

  • Document translation: Upload PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, EPUB, HTML, or TXT files. In supported formats, Equalang keeps the layout, paragraph structure, tables, and links intact.
  • Spoken interpretation: Run browser-based Live Listening for lectures, Face-to-Face conversation on a split screen, or Translated Call via a shared link without software installation.
  • Web and video: Read bilingual web pages with translations placed beneath original paragraphs, or display bilingual subtitles on YouTube, TikTok, and Netflix.
  • Images and audio: Translate photos with text placed over original positions, or generate translated subtitles from audio and video recordings.

Creating an account gives you 200 credits to test tasks before buying more credits. We welcome your questions and feedback as we keep improving the product.
