What is Epic World Builder?
EpicWorldBuilder.com gives you a unified space to build worlds, design maps, run campaigns, and play online with friends without juggling multiple apps. The world-building system works like a personal Wikipedia, with pages for characters, places, items, and lore that you can link together and attach to maps. The map maker uses a Photoshop-style layer system to create detailed maps with terrain, markers, labels, and custom art. You also get hundreds of generators—from names and NPCs to room descriptions, plot hooks, towns, and dungeons. The virtual tabletop supports multiple GMs and players, with dynamic lighting that limits each player’s vision to exactly what the GM allows, plus advanced features like darkvision and line-of-sight control.
