What is EMail Parrot?
EMail Parrot is a privacy-first group email service where members communicate through pseudonyms — real email addresses are never exposed to other members, even in message headers.
Unlike Google Groups, EMail Parrot is designed as an email relay and firewall, not a webmail system. Members use their existing email accounts (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, whatever they have) with no new accounts to create or apps to install.
Key differences from Google Groups:
- Sender addresses are replaced with pseudonyms — nothing to harvest if an account gets hacked
- Direct messaging between members without exchanging real addresses
- Virtual Private Email (VPE) lets members contact external people without revealing their identity
- Per-member moderation — put specific senders on approval while others post freely
- Strict SPF/DKIM/DMARC enforcement (Google Groups has weaker anti-spoofing than Gmail itself)
- Zero data mining — we route your email, we don't analyze it
Built for churches, PTAs, volunteer organizations, support groups, HOAs, activist groups, and any community where members shouldn't have to expose personal email addresses to participate.
$5/month per list, or $10/month for unlimited lists on your own domain. 30-day free trial.
