What is Else?

Else is an AI prototyping tool for product managers and designers that runs inside your actual product rather than a static mockup. Because it builds on your actual codebase, prototypes use your real data, real components, and real edge cases. Else learns from your codebase to inherit your design system and reuse existing components, and can extend your backend without modifying it. When a prototype is ready, Else opens a frontend PR for engineering to review, test, and merge, along with a full backend spec and integration prompt for any new backend functionality. It works with any client-rendered SPA frontend (React, Angular, Vue, etc.) and integrates with GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
