What is EasyBuild?

EasyBuild is a software build and installation framework that allows you to manage (scientific) software on High Performance Computing (HPC) systems in an efficient way. It automates the build and installation of software by managing dependencies and using compiler toolchains.

The framework is written in Python and the recommended way to install it is via pip. It is developed by the High-Performance Computing team at Ghent University and the EasyBuild community, released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2.
