What is EAN Studio?
EAN Studio is a web-based tool for generating, verifying and printing barcodes and product labels, with no installation required
It generates 19 barcode formats, including EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, QR Code, Code 128, Code 39, ITF-14, ISBN, PDF417, Aztec Code, GS1-128, GS1 DataBar, DataMatrix and Pharmacode. A free verifier validates check digits and diagnoses scanning problems locally in the browser
The label editor supports custom layouts with logos, ready-made FNSKU templates for Amazon FBA, and retail label templates. Product data can be imported from Excel for bulk printing on thermal rolls (80×50, 100×80 mm) or standard label sheets. Since Amazon ended its FBA prep and item-labeling service in January 2026, sellers can use it to print their own compliant FNSKU labels (Code 128 barcode, FNSKU text, product title and condition)
Product catalogs are stored locally on the user's device; only label layouts are stored on the server. Basic generators and the verifier are free; label design and printing require a paid plan (from €5/month)
Unlike installed label software such as BarTender or NiceLabel, EAN Studio runs entirely in the browser — nothing to install, and it opens on any machine. Unlike free online generators, it does the two things they leave out: it verifies a code (check digit, dimensions, quiet zones) and it prints from a product list, on sheets or thermal rolls, including Amazon FNSKU labels.
