What is Autodesk EAGLE?
Autodesk EAGLE is a software designed for printed circuit board (PCB) designers. It offers features like connecting schematic diagrams, positioning components, routing PCB, and accessing a large content library. It includes SPICE simulation methods, drag-and-drop functionality for design blocks, and alignment tools for precise PCB design. The software simplifies routing complex PCB layouts and includes accurate 3D models to ensure proper fit within its enclosure. It also links component libraries directly to manufacturers for immediate access to replacement parts.

Comments and Reviews
FYI, Eagle was not developed by Autocad. It was developed by CadSoft GmbH, and then purchased by Autocad, who then put their logo on it and charged for it.
It has a solid history, lots of features, and a valid part library. However, Autodesk has very limited licensing options for hobbyists.
