It's exactly what I was looking for for a looong time to replace the outdated (but awesome) Trimage image compressor (for Linux).
The install process on Linux is very easy because they offer AppImage and it ran in seconds on my Manjaro KDE.
The tool offers different optimization methods and you can optimize jpg and svg files too. The optimized output is really awesome!
