Dupemerge Alternatives

Dupemerge is described as 'Most hard disks contain quite a lot of completely identical files, which consume a lot of disk space. This waste of space can be drastically reduced by using the NTFS file system hardlink functionality to link the identical files ("dupes") together' and is an app in the os & utilities category. There are five alternatives to Dupemerge for Windows and Linux. The best alternative is FSlint, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Dupemerge are FindDupe, Duplicate File Hard Linker, Duplicate Commander and FindLinks.

Dupemerge alternatives are mainly Duplicate File Finders but may also be System Cleaners. Filter by these if you want a narrower list of alternatives or looking for a specific functionality of Dupemerge.
