Dolio

Dolio is a free expense-splitting app for groups — trips, flatshares, dinners and any other shared cost. Add what everyone paid and Dolio keeps a live picture of who owes whom, simplified down to the fewest possible payments, so a whole trip can be settled with a couple of transfers instead of a dozen.

Splits can be equal, by fixed amount, by share/weight, or itemized line by line, and expenses can be recorded in different currencies. Anyone without an account can still be included as a "ghost participant": an existing member adds them, they appear in every split, and they can claim their identity later or stay anonymous.

Free forever, with no ads on any plan: unlimited groups, members and expenses, all split types, one-tap settle up with full history, CSV export, invites by link or QR code, and light and dark themes.

Dolio Pro is optional and adds AI receipt scanning that reads a bill and itemizes it for you, spending analytics by time, category and person, activity logs, and priority support. Pro is shared with the whole group — when one person has it, everyone they split with gets the Pro features too. It is sold as a monthly subscription or as a one-time trip pass that expires on its own, with nothing to cancel.

Dolio runs in the browser with no install and as native apps for iOS and Android, all kept in sync. Expenses added offline sync by themselves once you are back online. The interface is available in eight languages: English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Korean.
