    Odin Alternatives

Odin is described as 'utility software developed and used internally by Samsung which can be used to flash a Custom Recovery firmware image (as opposed to the Stock recovery firmware image) to a Samsung Android device. It is also used as a way of unbricking an Android device'. There are six alternatives to Odin for Android, Mac, Windows and Linux. The best alternative is Heimdall, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Odin are ROM Manager (Freemium), Anarchy-Droid (Free, Open Source), ROM Toolbox (Freemium) and Xiaomitool (Free).
