What is CutoutClip?

CutoutClip is a web tool that removes the background from videos of people without a green screen. Upload an MP4 or MOV clip (up to 500 MB) and download a transparent WebM (VP9 with alpha channel) with the original audio, ready to use as an overlay in OBS, in an editor or on a web page. The same result can also be exported as MOV ProRes 4444 with alpha (first 60 seconds), green screen or solid color MP4, a blurred or custom image background, an alpha matte and a transparent GIF.

Clips up to 10 seconds are free (3 per day), with no sign-up and no watermark. Longer clips up to 2 minutes cost $4.99 per video, one time, with no subscription, a free 5-second preview before paying and an automatic refund if processing fails. Video is processed at up to 1080p; clips above 30 fps follow a 3,600-frame limit per payment.

Free uploads and results are deleted after 24 hours, paid ones 7 days after payment. The background removal runs on VEED's video background removal model via fal.ai.
