Actually, it does have powerful CSV (any other delimited file formats) functions. Opens and displays delimited files (incl. huge ones) very fast. It has filtering, move/merge/split columns, flash fill, in-cell editing, search/replace, etc. Been using it for years and it's my go-to tool for working with data files.
