Cronycle is hard to define at the moment - as I write the app is in beta - but the potential I see is enormous.
I am a marketer and looking to learn about new technologies. I offer small consulting work to start ups. I use Cronycle to help me find information from the web which is trusted and interesting, and then I use the 'boards' to give clarity to my own thoughts. It's basically a platform to annotate content which you find on the web.
There are a couple of other platforms which either do news aggregation like Feedly (but none have the powerful filters which Cronycle has) and there are a couple of platforms which aggregate articles - like Flipboard Magazine - but this has a more outward focus. Cronycle boards offer you an inward focus which means you can annotate articles yourself to find it's own meaning. Then you can apply this to your consulting projects, or blogs.
Really interested to see the direction it goes! Even now it's offering me immense value that I couldn't find elsewhere.
The swiss army knife of content curation- from content curation to collaboration and distribution, Cronycle does it all. It has hundreds of thousands of sources, powerful filters, smart recommendation engine and good integrations for content sharing. This product always has a place in my tool rotation. The ease of use and flexibility of the platform is the key strength of this product. Social media and apps integration makes sharing curated content a lot more convenient.
It's an awesome way to read top stories on any topic I've found so far. It's also got an extremely beautiful UI. Nice newsletter feature. A good alternative to Feedly. I can get updated articles from my Google alerts as well!
The quality of data and the relevance of the feeds is ages ahead from the other alternatives in the market.

I'm a long time user of the application and I saw it transforms from a very basic information aggregator to a entire knowledge management workflow automation application. The team is very open to feedback from customers and take it seriously and there support is fantastic.
I primarily use Cronycle to schedule all my curated content from various feeds and sources to be published I generally publish the newsletter internal and external also I need to notify the team via slack.
Following are some very important features.
It has integrations with Slack, Hootsuite and Buffer that lets me schedule and share my posts without leaving Cronycle which saves a lot of time.
It also allows me to send curated newsletters through the same platform.
-The complete workflow around discovering sources, curating content and then pushing out makes it a tool which really helps with productivity.
Among all the readers like Flipboard and Feedly I believe Croncyle provides the best output. It allows the most control over the feeds. I have the control to add specific sources that I want and use advanced filters which makes it a highly personalized experience. Cronycle Boards has great features like adding tags and comments which is very helpful for organizing all my content in a single place and it saves a lot of time for me.
