What is cosine.club?
cosine.club is a music similarity search engine built for crate diggers and DJs. Search for a track or paste a link to one, and it returns tracks that sound similar.
The matching runs on the audio itself, not on genre tags or listening history. Every track is turned into a vector embedding by the discogs-effnet model from Essentia, and matches are found by cosine similarity between those vectors. Nothing in that process reads metadata, so results cross genre lines and turn up records that tags never connect.
The catalogue is roughly 2.2 million tracks from Discogs, Bandcamp and SoundCloud, weighted heavily toward electronic and underground music: house, techno, UK garage, jungle, breakbeat, electro, ambient, dub and disco.
Search and similarity are free and need no account. Registered users can build playlists, save favourites and generate journeys that move gradually between two tracks. There is also a public API.
