What is Command-Tab Plus 2?

Command-Tab Plus 2 by MacPlus Software is an enhanced, keyboard-centric tool for managing running applications and windows on macOS (requires macOS 11.5 Big Sur or later). It addresses the inconveniences of the standard switcher when dealing with a multitude of open programs.

Main Features Quickly Switch Between Applications: Allows for fast selection of the desired application using digital shortcuts. Convenient Window Switching: To quickly switch between the windows of the selected application, you can call up Command-Tab Plus and then press Z or ~. Isolated Workspaces (Spaces): By default, it only displays the icons of apps running on the current display or space, which helps to isolate applications and maintain order. This function can be disabled in the app settings. Hide Not Used Applications: Hides the icons of inactive (hidden) apps, allowing you to quickly switch only between those currently in use. This is handy if you have many background apps. Customizable Appearance: Provides built-in themes (e.g., "Wood Shelf Theme," "Snow Leopard") and allows users to create their own. Customizable Hotkeys and Filters: Users can set the application switcher to be called up with their preferred keyboard shortcut (e.g., Command + Tab (? + ?), Option + Tab (? + ?), Alt + Tab (? + ?)). Apple Silicon Support: Features native support for both Apple Silicon (M1–M4) and Intel chips.
