What is ColorPix?
ColorPix is a useful little color picker that grabs the pixel under your mouse and transforms it into a number of different color formats.
You can use the built-in magnifier to zoom in on your screen, click on a color value to copy it directly to the clipboard, and even keep ColorPix on top of all other apps and out of the way.

Pretty much the perfect universal eyedropper tool. It's small, fast, and has exactly the features you need and nothing you don't. I've been using it for...jeez, probably over a decade now.
It does take you a moment to figure out how to use it, but only a moment. Hint: the box needs to be "active" to lock in a color, and clicking any of the color values will copy them to clipboard.
