Created out of necessities, Color Pickin' is that kind of tool: simple, no fluff, just works. Simply drag the dropper to any part of your desktop screen and collect. Instantly generate the color values in popular formats.

Like how handy it is, not too much.
The app is super-lightweight and sports a unique feature in the genre: easy color sheets from saved colors. But there is one major nuiscance in my opinion. It only lets you click-drag the eydropper from the button, out to the place you want to sample. That is extremely irritating to do when you're using a touchpad. If there were an option to instead use Click to activate eydropper and second-Click somewhere to sample color, I'd raise my rating.
The second drawback is that is says it's free on the website. But when using the app, you'll find out there are locked features which you are required to pay (donate) for. I think this should be visible on the website for easier consideration. I think always thought it's a bit shady not revealing that from the start. And then use words like 'donate', when in reality it's a regular for-pay software.
