This does a lot more than the other Flashlight app, though I'm not sure if I'll ever use it. It starts a little slower, which is annoying because when you need a flashlight, you need it immediately. It also doesn't increase the brightness of the backlight, which it should do. So it's just a dim white light.
Also, the strobe is a 50% duty cycle on and off, which doesn't make much sense. Real strobe lights have a short flash of light followed by a variable period of darkness.
