What is Cloudflare Turnstile?
Turnstile is Cloudflare's smart CAPTCHA alternative. It automatically chooses from a rotating suite of non-intrusive browser challenges based on telemetry and client behavior exhibited during a session. Anyone, anywhere on the Internet, who wants to replace CAPTCHA on their site will be able to call a simple API, without having to be a Cloudflare customer or sending traffic through the Cloudflare global network.

Cloudflare Turnstile said it would check what my users were doing on-site and either pass or fail them. After implementing we received a considerable number of complaints about the captcha widget "spinning forever". If you search Reddit you'll see a number of posts about this. Plus, CF are essentially trying to ringfence the internet with this and their DDoS system. Next step - charging everyone access to the internet and taking a cut whilst doing it (Google "Cloudflare’s new marketplace will let websites charge AI bots for scraping"). Don't let them ruin a good thing.
